My name is Stacy Edwards. I am currently taking this class among others at A&M University to further my career goal of becoming a certified teacher in all level Special Education. I plan to continue my career to become a school psychologist/counselor within the next four years. I am employed with the Sulphur Springs ISD where I am the Behavior Interventionist. During the details of this job I work with Special Education students who have trouble with being educated due to Emotional Disturbance or Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Aside from my career, I have four wonderful children ages 4, 7, 19, and 20. To which the older are having babies of their own and I am now the proud grandparent of one beatuiful baby girl and expecting another one in December. My children and family are the reason for my blog name "proud_mom11".

I hope in this class I will learn to expand on my own thinking and for goodness sake take my students to a whole new level of learning.
